Fucking LOL. Did you even read that "article?" Whoever the dipshit is who wrote that is just a downsie scare-monger without any legitimate facts, just spewing retarded rhetoric designed to make people freak out.

It definitely caught my eye but I found it suspicious there are no legit citations, just seein if anyone else knew better. I'm surrounded by ex-military conspiracy theorists, paranoids and alarmists.

Yea, my neighbor actually worked on a wide range of bombs in the airforce- nuclear weapons technician. She's full of very interesting stories and has shown me personal pictures of her team and some bombs they worked on. Unfortunately, she's crazy now, only in the way that she scares me with these ideas she has, and she has no idea how they impact me. I know I'm gullible to a degree, but I don't even know what to think anymore- I just wanna smoke some good weed, relax, and paint a cool picture.

I know an ex military genus of sorts. He too has told some pretty wild stories. Ex military imo should be listened too! They are the ones that see the things that are so taboo. Not saying all, but alot of the ex military I have met has had some credibility. Not totally off their rockers yet. But makes me wonder why so many of these ex military end up "crazy". Maybe to ruin and disqualify any testimony from these now crazy people.
I know there are a lot of conspiracy, antigov, groups as well. But amonst all the bullshit, there seems to be some truth in parts of it.
The radiation scare stuff though is and has been up front and center since Japan's earthquake and subsequent meltdown. To many hoaxers spreading gibberish. Think about this for a moment. Our military sets off nuclear bomb tests frequent enough in our own turf. That if fallout was a super threat we should already be glowing.

Man, the world's gone to shit, no doubt about it. Whether the conspiracy theorists are right or not, our country and world has literally been consumed by it's own consumerism. Some dumb government, probably ours, is gonna create the situation that brings about zombies (whether it's some sort of virus, or engineered plague gone wrong, it'll happen either way), and then we'll all be pretty much fucked.
Either that or the world's richest 3% is going to keep controlling the world's governments like it has been for years already (ever stop to think what makes our money worth something ever since we stopped backing our currency with gold?)...
Or, the frequency of these hugely catastrophic earthquakes and subsequent tsunamis are going to keep increasing until the whole world falls apart!
So sit back, smoke a bowl, and watch our world destroy itself... lol
Sorry for my stoned an drunk ramblings... I hope I haven't scared you more than you already were!

Yea, the zombie apocalypse crossed my mind too.
I don't know if it's the small amount of truth that drives people crazy or the insane amount of bullshit you gotta pick it from.
Guess I've been a lil uptight- haven't smoked in a few weeks. I'm gonna go score a bag and remember not to sweat the shit I have no control over.

So I'm just wondering if you'd like to explain how consumerism can have such a profound effect (if any) on tectonic activity.
Also please explain how a self-contained ball of gravity can "fall apart"

Found something else pretty cool, I was reading around on the berkeley forums just now and found this article about how they looking into are using mushrooms to suck the heavy metals out of the contaminated wood and other compost, and then removing the mushrooms that have absorbed high concentrations of radioactivity and clean up the damaged environments

Yessir, it's called bioremediation and has been on the table for the last couple years with multiple different plants and fungi.
I'm highly in favor

I'm glad you found legit info, I'm even more glad you found something to give me peace of mind about it too. I had heard about radioactive fungus at Chernobyl but did not know its utility. Life goes on...

It really just goes to show for those people who still believe that man kind is killing the world... that we couldnt even come close if we tried. were just killing ourselves and some of the other species unfortunate enough to share this world with us at the moment
