Clones not looking so hot

took these clones on the 20'th, 14 days ago. they have been exposed to normal air for about a week now and are looking like they are lacking something. i put a little bit of fertilizer on them the other day since water didn't seem to be helping.

I wouldn't have fed them they still have plenty of energy in those leaves. They should be fine and be kicking roots out any minute if they haven't already. Just hang on for a couple more days. Do you have mites, or is that perlite dust?

Thats good, bet they are just developing roots. The way to tell without removing them is to look for white scales or bumps along the meristem just above the soil line.

edit: I can see them in the first pic.

You should cut the ends of the leafs off on those clones. Helps stimulate root growth.

I found cloning to always be dependent on RH and bottom heat.

Personally I would bag them

I really don't notice any difference in clipped leaves or not. I know the dutch have been doing it forever, also cali seemed to pick it up when the med scene hit. I have done side by side with zero difference.

i kept everything under a dome and misted regularly. finally got a real dome the other day.

transfered one with tons of roots to a new pot to become a mother.

top left is not showing roots yet, center has one sticking out of the bottom, and the one of the right is a branch I accidentially broke off a week or so into flower so i decided to try it.

the four clones I took since i had to trim my plant anyway.

Yeah that flowering branch I wouldn't have high hopes for. It will root but it will go stagnant on you. Maybe after a month or so it will reveg but is it worth the hassle?

A friend of mine had a branch break off one of his  girls he had put into flower a week before. He just stuck it in a pot of soil and treated it just like one of his flowering ladies. He likes to experiment like that.

It ended up having some very strange growth patterns, and he was a little worried about it going hermie, but actually ended up giving him about 9-10 grams from it!

it's not much of a hassle, plus i'll have something to throw into flower after this harvest. it's either jack herer or a medical strain. 3 of those 4 super lemon haze should be ready to go in with the other one. I really want to take some time and trim/train them proper.

since i can legally have 15 plants, I'm gonna get 3 mother plants and then sog 12 plants with possibly a hydro or aero setup. But i'll need another light and the setup, for now i'm limited to just a few plants.

I have the three clones, from up to 3 different types of plants (still pending verification). It looks like their maybe all different, so they will become mothers.

If I had medical and allowed 15 plants I'd put each plant under a single 1500 watt light.lol Are there rules about the size or weight your plants can produce? I just may have to move soon to go that route. Man I can only imagine....

the limits are: 15 plants in ANY stage of growth, and possession of 24oz of dried-cured marijuana.

This is something I have been wishing I could try for a LONG time now... When I have the room, I want to try it, but I won't have that kind of room for a while! lol

And if you do consider moving up to Wa for that 15 plant medical limit, most counties allow co-ops of up to 3 cards in each residence, giving you a potential to legally grow up to 45 plants.
