now that were on the topic of poppys ,does anybody no where to get seeds that are adapted to the canadian climate ?

Poppies like cold. I've heard of people starting them on top of snow in a bed, and then when the snow melts and the weather warms up some, they sprout. They also do really well in moderate to poor soil conditions.
