Is there any problems with removing leafs from your plants? My plants are in the flowering phaze at the moment and I was told by the guy in the grow shop that its ok to remove some of the leafs. The reason I would want to do this is for light penitration
my friend does it for that same reason. light penetration. some of his plants are missing almost all of their fans and his buds look really, REALLY good. however i have also read that you need fan leaves to pull up alot of the nutes and goodies to the buds. so i would say, if it looks like it is shadowing something that could use more light... tear the leaf off.
Some pruning is alright. Don't over do it though. And preferably only take the dying or dead leaves. Take to many and risk stunting the plant or worse!
i striped %95 of the fan leave off my plants 2 weeks into flower and they are doing great ,i would,t take all the leave off ,like the leaves growing out from the buds ,
