Growing multiple strains at once?
    #542983 - 04/04/11 03:36 AM (13 years, 7 months ago)

Different strains react differently to different growing methods, I guess. But surely more than one strain could be grown at once, in the same environment.

Though, I have no idea about grouping Indica and Sativa together, since one grows faster than the other and requires more/less of various factors present in growing environments.

For instance, I would surely want an Indica plant, but I would also like some Sativa (or hybrids). I'm looking at Afghan/Hindu Kush at the moment, but a haze would also be pretty neat. I don't currently possess the knowledge to figure that out, or similar scenarios.

Any tips, suggestions or thoughts in regards to growing more than one strain at once (and getting the most out of all of them)?

I greatly appreciate your 2 cents.

Just train each plant so as to maintain an even canopy in your garden.

The sativas will generally have a longer flowering period, so if your grow space is used for both vegging and flowering you will have empty space while you wait for the sativas to finish...That would be one drawback to your proposed plan.
