Couldn't agree with you more. 
I did have fairly good results with it in SOG but it just wasn't what I was expecting from all the hype.

I assume you got that cut/seeds a long time ago, they new version isn't fast at all finishes at about 65 days and is just not good.
I would have posted a picture but I had to wipe my phone to send it in for repairs.
You can find pictures of the new version on ICMAG, basically had the same experience.

Yeah your right I had the older version and to tell the truth didn't think much of that either.
I personally have always thought of BOG as more of a pollen chucker then a breeder. His method of surrounding a male plant with a bunch of different females and just shaking the plant tended to make me think he didn't have the amount of parent plants he said he had. (Remember this is the guy who claims his strains make up Bubba Kush)

That pretty much sucks. He must have lost the original parent plants when he quit selling seeds the first time. (I had thought his son kept them but it looks like he didn't now after reading what your results were)

He claims he never lost any parent plants but he's using a new male. He buddy, why don't you just make a new line calling it something else entirely if you're going to play around with the parents.
I wonder what sort of plant counts he runs, apparently he's a legal grower now.

My brother (the person who got me into growing and has forgotten more then I'll ever know) is friends with him and I've met him quiet a few times. When I ask my brother about BOG he says "full of shit" and that's pretty much all he has to say about him.
I do know this for sure, the cutting of lifesaver I got from him hermied in the last two weeks of flowering.

I'm feeling pretty good, I had a pack of lifesaver I gave to a "friend" who was relentlessly hounding me for growing help. He's a bit of a douche so I selected the lifesaver as the seeds to give him, and now I'm glad I did.

BOG claims he's just experimenting with a new male (and giving out the seeds without notice....) and that he didn't lose any of his original parents.
I don't know what's worse, changing the recipe to a name brand or just flat out lying he didn't lose the original parents.

I'd be more comfortable buying REZDOG's gear, some of his releases have been stellar and with some searching his Chemdog and Sour Diesel are the 2nd best thing to the clones. The Chemdog is apparently a bit more hermie prone but the Sour Diesel is supposed to be fantastic 9/10 times. His Alpha Diesel release was great.
So what does BOG offer? Sour Bubble with notoriously low yields? Lifesaver that produced nothing I am personally willing to smoke nor grow.

ya rezdog has more earthy heavy shit. and BOG seems to be berry fruit bubble. i mean i am generalizing but it does seem that way. just depends on personal taste on who you think is balls. just a thought
