I've seen it in a lot of the anti-pot newspapers and being spout from gov propaganda hoses.
Anyone else think this is fucking retarded? It's like the word terrorist. Fucking stupid because anything can be classed under the word.

I dont buy into propaganda but even as a marijuana advocate I will acknowledge that cannabis use has been linked to social problems as well as depression in many teens. This is the problem of drug use before the brain is fully developed.

I know the attitude. Everything the media says is wrong. However I disagree with this. In teens 14-17 while their brain is still in development THC is linked to depression and social anxiety.
In adults I believe cannabis use is nearly harmless but in teens I tend to side with the media

Thanks for being able to hold a discussion like an adult. We all appreciate the professionalism you bring to the table.
If you dont think drugs can be harmful to young kids whose body and mind is still developing than you have been brainwashed by the drugs.
I say again. In adults I feel cannabis use isnt a health concern. But when you are talking about young people who are not matured, there is a difference. Im sorry if you dont have the education to understand this

OH SNAP. I agree. Theres no doubt that marijuana isnt healthly. But the questions is it so bad that it will compromise our life? No. It is not.

What i was saying was that its quite obvious that weed isnt good for you. Inhaling anytype of smoke is bad. But is it so bad that it will cause a person to be at risk of dieing or anything? No. If your going to ban marijuana you might as well ban anyother possible thing you could smoke.

I think, as it's been said before, many teenagers do naturally struggle with depression... I know I did. Yet when it comes down to it, I really don't notice any difference between adults that smoked when they were younger (in their teens), and adults that smoked later on.
Also, I really don't think it's that bad for you... I think we get more toxins eating the processed shit that most of us do, and inhaling all the pollution in the environment. Weed doesn't even compare to the negative effects that shit has on our bodies...
As of now, I no longer have nearly as much depression as I did when I was younger... I pretty much self-medicate myself with weed. I hate all the antidepressants they prescribe now... SSRI's keep you from tripping, but most of all, erase all your emotions. At least that's what it did for me...
Time to toke up...

it really should not be up to the gov to say whether somebody is an adult or not.
and there are many reasons that people should not be prohibited from using a certain substance until a certain age. One that is obvious is binging at that age level.
marijuana is a goddamn plant and nobody can stop teens from using it.
instead if they choose to use marijuana all facts must be laid out as well as good parenting (something that seems to by dying in this modern "free country" that we live in) in order to avoid drug abuse problems. not all drug use under a certain age is drug abuse.

Probably not. I would support 18+ legislation if it was on the table, but it isnt. The current legislation proposed by Barr and Paul is for adults of 21+, therefor that is the legislation I support.
