 Court Today (Weird happenings on the inside)

So guys, here's the deal.
About 3 months ago, I was arrest for charges on assault, and when they caught and reprehended me, they found my ganja. So, at the time they caught me I was smoked the fuck out. During the little ride in the back seat, I started talking to the pig...and I had some good vibes going EVEN in the back of a cop car. I walk talking to him and telling him why I was being brought up on the assault charges.
Later at the cop shop, I took a look at the ticket, and saw the charge for possession of marijuana (Less than an oz.) And that was it, nothing with assault. So I think the cop gave me a break.
A few months later, I go to court, and I didn't show up on any of the lists, so...I waited, and got a letter for my next date.
Went to that one (Which happened to be today.) And the same thing happened.
Guys, I think someones praying for me or some shit.

No just an inefficient justice system. You realize you're just prolonging the inevitable? Whatever happened to a speedy trial?

Just as I thought, I talked to a few people at the court-room today, tey said this nearly never happens, and when it does, they usually do something off the books. ie; take some class.
