Farm raised from Canada. Don't worry, he has 10000's of them and only dries out 1/4 of what he grows.
I don't think it was enough for heavy effects by any measure, but holy fuck, it was the most bitter thing I have ever eaten. I don't know how natives did it.
Be back later.

If what I've heard is correct, it takes quite a while to come up on it. I figure I've got a while.

5 quarter sized dried buttons, give or take on the size It was all he brought home for me. He said it should be enough to get a bit of a trip going from what hes done.
Sounds right when I checked on erowid so I just went for it.

Was playing Spyro on my playstation just now and it hit me all of a sudden haha.
I fel like everything has added depth and I've got quite a body buzz happening. Listening to my stoner/doom metal Pandora radio station and its damn good. The song "Dragon of the Deep Part 2" by Mammatus just came on. Never heard it but I feel like I know it
Gonna go for a walk and hope I don't freeze to death

I have some 3 foot pedros that I am going to make something for Burning Man this year. I love mescaline. I have been meaning to advance my active Cacti collection for quite some time now.
Have a great journey. I hope you learn something about yourself or the world around you.

Peyote is more potent and contains alkaloids unique to the plant I believe.

Well I knew the more potent part, but the different alkaloids makes sense. I've only ever done san pedro. I would love to be familiar with a variety of cacti.

I'm back to baseline now. I didn't have a full blown trip by any measure, but it was certainly an enjoyable experience. If I were to try again, I'd want probably 8 buttons of similar size.
I had an incredible feeling of oneness. Much more than any other psychedelic drug I've ever tried. Very feint closed eye visuals. I can understand where lots of the patterning on native American art came from. I know its pretty standard to hear about geometric shapes, and it certainly delivered. During my come up, music had a ton of additional depth to it, but around my peak and come down it just seemed to sound kinda muddy to me.
It was kinda strange to take peyote (a desert cactus) in a winter wonderland. I kept focusing on that and thinking how funny it was that natives who used it probably never used it in this area, and I was wondering how it would have differed from the desert region.
I think you guys know I have a close relationship with my dog. For some reason she was right on my heels the whole trip. It was almost like she was worried about me. I think she could definitely tell something was up. I was sitting in a reclining chair, and she crawled over the couch onto my lap (something she only does when shes been scolded). She just really wanted to sit with me. It was nice.
Very fun. I'd love to try again with a larger amount.

Glad you had a fun time man. The mescaline experience is so cool. I was in the woods and kept feeling like I was in some geometric jungle. It had a very electrical way with me. I was getting "jolted" here and there it was weird.

i'm glad you enjoyed it man! Not many people get to try mescaline, not to mention peyote. I feel like i wouldn't try peyote unless i was ready, i would want to consult some native americans and do it how it's always been done. Peyote seems like something very sacred, and i wouldn't want to ruin that.
