 Who has been to colorado? I want to move!

I live in the south east. I want to move when I graduate college. I have never been to Colorado or anywhere west. I want to do some kind of sustainability work and smoke my grass without fear of persecution. Is it a cool state? thoughts? experiences?

It's the best motherfucking state in the country save possibly Montana and Alaska if you're into hiking and outdoorsy shit.

Can you also clarify the law on marijuana there? Is it 2 oz prepared marijuana plus 3 mature plants plus 3 seedlings?

I am coming from North Carolina! It isnt bad here. I just want a change. I think Colorado is more in tune with my feelings on most issues. Also,my degree focused on renewable energy and sustainability. Colorado seems like a bit of a mecca for that sort of stuff. I am also none to thrilled about the thought of ruining everything I have worked for because I like a certain plant. I would be happy just working for what I believe in and growing my own mmj.
Colorado just seems like a slice of heaven.lol

I went to aspen once, and it was beautiful. I'd definitely love to visit more places there.
Although, everyone i've met from there are kind of strange. IMO

Also, Aspen isn't really representative of the state as a whole. We have tons of scenery like Aspen, but the people there are super rich and fake as fuck. You can thank Hollywood for that one.

I got to spend an awesome 2 weeks in Colorado years back. Just the thought that I could go back one day is enough to get up for all these 8am classes everyday. None of my pictures of Colorado are digital but I gotta second the motions above. It's a shame that since I am to be an artist by profession, I probably won't afford the property tax up there, and growing for patients is pretty competitive I hear.

tool played there two nights last summer. it was epic. I was offered mushrooms both nights by complete strangers. I wasn't even talking with them and they just leaned over and said, hey, want some mushrooms? that was fun. you know what, of all the places ive traveled to, i've been offered the most drugs from strangers (unsolicited) in denver. wow, thinking on it it's not even close. denver is awesome! I wish i would have been able to meet you during those shows HB. i had no idea how far boulder was from the south denver area. I'll be up in denver again in mid november for a deftones concert and to meet a few friends. not too sure on the duration of that trip though. we shall be in touch.
