If it wasn't for their iPod Classic, they wouldn't have a single product that I'd find worth buying, but because they do, I have to put up with Apple's bullshit.. Yesterday.. I had to restore my iPod, thus having to delete 90GBs of music off of it.. All my playlists.. Ratings.. Everything. For what was apparently, just an iTunes glitch that occurs when Winamp is open at the same time as iTunes.. iTunes is still giving me warnings.. I decided to get the plugin for Winamp to manage my iPod, and it still reads it just fine, while iTunes goes apeshit about not being able to read it..
It's gonna take hours, simply for me to put my music back on.. I hate Apple  /Rant
Also, if there are any other high quality, high storage MP3 players out there, I'd love to hear about them, and break free from Apple..

I have a friend who used to swear by his Zune when iPods were first getting popular.

As much as i hate apple too, i love my iphone for the most part, and loved my ipod classic before i lost it.

i got a chepo 8gb mp3/mp4 player for 20$ so far its been pretty reliable and the fact that you dont have to deal with itunes makes it so much sweeter

I understand people not liking apple products, but 90% of their reasoning is usually crap
apple makes solid products, and a good OS for people who dont give a fuck about every little detail and just wanna get things done
I like the fact that I have had my macbook for 2+ years and have never once had any issue, hardware or software (except for me finding my lost debit card in my disk drive, was wondering why it wasnt working for a few days)
sure windows works pretty well, but i have owned, built, modded and fried hundreds of PCs and I cant say I have ever had one that worked flawlessly all the time, and im sure none of the mac haters can say that either

Only thing I bought from Apple was an iPod shuffle. I got sick of not having one and the ability to carry around 16GB of music is pretty rad.
There products are catered towards older people who have money and no understanding of how to use a computer. The customization and options you have with a PC clear out weigh apple in terms of computers
In terms of phone. I just stick to my samsung that has a keyboard. I would never consider one of those smart ones. They seem like a complete waste of money unless you have it to blow.

Everytime I plug an iPod in and it syncs with iTunes, iTunes immediately deems it unreadable, I thought it was a one-time thing with mine, but the same thing just happened to my brother's yesterday.. I've re-installed and the same shit happened again.. I'm just gonna uninstall iTunes completely and manage the iPods with Winamp .
About the Apple hating thing, they claim to be superior over everything else, even though I end up having more problems with my fucking Apple mp3 player than my PC.. Maybe it's Apple's way of getting back at me for using an iPod with a PC, but I've had tons of problems that shouldn't even occur.. Like a shitload of songs that just skip and don't play, no matter what I do to them, I know they're perfectly fine mp3s, and they play when I have my iPod being read through iTunes, but my iPod refuses to play them, ever.
Also, Apple markets themselves like the Hipsters of technology, they claim their shit is better than anything else, and continue to make every single product either incompatible, or majorly flawed if it has to work with any kind of other system that isn't Apple.. Tons of people that don't know much about computers go nuts over Mac's and throw thousands of dollars down on them, expecting an epic computer that never gets viruses, ever. The only problem with that is, you get about a third of the performance for the price you'd pay for a PC, and Macs actually DO get viruses now..

macs dont get viruses. unless you yourself install it its not going to have a virus, all programs have to be put into the app folder by you, the admin
but whatever, im not gonna argue stupid shit over the internet.

i love my imac and my iphone and my ipod classic. never really had a problem with them. they do what they are supposed to do.

ive never got a virus on my pc
and for the hardware and price and what i personally use computers for i prefer pc. although i hope to move to linux relatively soon

that being said i do have the new ipod nano, and it has a nice interface and does what its supposed to do.

Now I'm trying to figure out why the hell iTunes is hellbent on wiping clean every iPod that comes into contact with it.. The same thing is happening with my brothers laptop and iPod. I'm gonna uninstall iTunes and hope it doesn't happen again, it's really starting to piss me off..

Ah, so they only have binary viruses, I just knew that they started getting viruses, didn't care to research much further, since it doesn't really concern me.
