Love self contained acts. Been getting into this style as far as guitar playing goes, think this is what I'm going to focus on from now on.
Recently discovered this guy. Sad to find out he died in 2005.
Post anymore you can think of.

you know what i did in english class? I came to class stoned out of my mind every day, i chugged vodka in the back of class, i put dead fish in the ceiling tiles. i put a gallon of old milk and orange juice in the file cabinet before winter vacation. i brought snakes in a tied up sweater and let them loose during class. i didnt go to school to learn, i went because i had to. i didnt care, and i didn't fucking listen to that stupid bitch. and i still don't fucking care. i tore the pages out of her books and burned them, and threw away all the books in the class, two books per day.

"Thing a Week" is the name that Coulton gave to a creative experiment which ran from September 16, 2005 to September 30, 2006. In this project, Coulton undertook to record 52 musical pieces in the course of a year, one each week. This target was achieved.
The dude is pretty fuckin hilarious.

I really like Jerry Garcia'a album called Lonesome Prison Blues. He recorded it while serving jail time for smoking crack in NYC.

McKee is a badass.
I think I have to say FBD introduced me, or it might of been the Russian acoustic cover guy.
He showed me one or the other, posted both. If you search threads for his name I'm certain you would find a ton of his vids.

I'm a fan of Fretkillr because of his voice and mystery, no one knows who he is:
Shanty
Greensleeves
Flatpick Jam
Wayfaring Stranger
He was one of the most popular channels on Youtube since the website launched but they recently shut him down because his covers where "copyright infringements"...
