mmmmkay, so, I actually think I first heard this when my brother played it one day. Interesting vibe. And today I was doing my typical-of-late ritual, of watching a few videos as I have my coffee and such.
I know that some may not dig the whole hip hop deal. BUT, for you crazy psychedelic kids, this song (Which is by Kid Cudi) also features MGMT, and was produced by Ratatat, for those of you who are into electronic stuff.
Anyway, I'm not really familiar with the rest of Cudi's stuff, but I do like this. (and coincidentally, I do like MGMT)
Oddly this video comes in two flavors, for two versions. One is a really trippy, weird kind of deal, and the second is a little more standard for hip hop fare (but the song is still cool)
Trippy? mmmmm...kinda, yeah.
This version has nice audio. Very full and slick. But the video is not as neat. Still vaguely entertaining. But are they going to get any more blatant with the symbolism in these hip hop videos? I mean, after Drake and Cudi finish spraying all those girls with their "champagne" (starting around 2:50) Drake even looks a little bit "relieved." Then again, that was the most entertaining part.

Check out his first album if you haven't already. Good shit!

I think the first video was awesome. The space face at 3:35 reminds me of something I saw once after taking eye drops at a NORML fest.
I didn't like the second video. I almost never like videos where artists appear to be selling an image or using status-props. I find it contrived. Just my opinion...
