 Hookah weed

I'm really tempted to get a nice hookah after smoking my hookah with weed a few times. I generally smoke an herbal shisha (sugar cane and molasses rather than tobacco) because I don't smoke any nicotine, and the huge rips I can take from a hookah murder me with nicotine OD.
But last time I smoked my hookah, I sprinkled a bit of herb in with my shisha and I got the most high I have been in AGES 
I had smoked weed with it once before (hash actually) and thought that the only reason I got really high was because it was awesome hash. But, this is the bud I have been smoking on for months, and I got super-duper high 
Has anyone else ever tried this?
I usually don't like to, because I was real high and smoking the shisha once, accidentally bumped my desk and knocked down the charcoal without knowing. Almost burned a hole from my upstairs to my downstairs  If I got a decent enough hookah it would stay standing up and have a coal-catcher.

My college friends and I had a nice 5-tube hookah. We only smoked brick bud in it. Sometimes we added something for flavor, but not often.
I think I got a lot higher off the hookah cause it hit so well and we would really just hang out listening to tunes and taking long puffs (I smoked more). It was nice that it did not burn fast, but then again we were paying $225 or $250 a QP of brick then. I don't even know where to get the cheap stuff anymore. I use very little and I always get high quality for free.
Wow... this just brought back some cool memories.

I love to just sit back and smoke out of a hookah, i dont really enjoy smoking weed from it though.
where do you get that herbal blend?

Cheapest around.
and ive never smoked a bowl of just weed. i just grind up like half a gram into my shisha and mix it around. i think the reason i get so high from it is because its so smooth. i can literally hit an entire lung[s] full and not cough haha.

I do it sometimes, I don't feel like I get higher though.
IDK I think I'd rather just smoke a bowl, joint, bong, vape etc. Actually usually what I'll do is rip a few bongs then go fire up the hookah. just my preference.

Yea they are great when you have a bunch of people over and a ton of weed to throw in there, but when it comes to day to day I'll stick with my bong

one thing i miss about texas is the hookah lounges. there were like 3 within a few miles of where i stayed. one was a late night place called 'kush'. it was BYOB, no lights but blacklights so everything glowed. you got a highlighter when you came in. everyone just got drunk, smoked hookah, and sometimes ladies would draw on you. was open till 4am.
and when you were drunk, and left. immediately across the street was a jimmy johns.

I've always wanted to have a hookah bar/lounge. I live in a retarded area though. Something tells me it wouldn't take off.

I tried smoking weed out of a hookah once.. Oh my fucking god it was amazing.. Me and my buddies couldn't feel the smoke hitting our lungs AT ALL.. We'd be inhaling for ages, not even sure if we were getting anything, and then blow out giant clouds.. 
Smoothest smoke I've EVER had..

Thats why I bought a hookah in the first place. I just enjoy playing with the smoke. I always end up getting really light headed when I take it out because I breathe real deep and then let it out real slow every time in inhale/exhale haha.

Yah, there's a jimmy johns on the street where all our bars are. Open til 3 am on the weekends too, best place to go after a heavy night on the town. Although they are opening a waffle house now too, gonna be some late night drunk food competition going on 
Never really cared too much for the hookahs. It's ok I guess, but I'd rather load up a bowl then smoke on a hookah. Besides, I've seen way too many accidents with those coals to even want to fuck with one in my house.
