harvest question

I was peaking in on my ladies a moment a go and noticed most of the trichs are milky on one of my plants but most of the pistils are still white. I expected them all to be brown before the trichs turned. Was I wrong or is this just something odd or something I did. And should I chop or should I let it sit?

Well............
Go by the trich color the pistol color doesn't tell you much. Some plants will have their pistols start turning soon in to flowering while others show it later on.
Sour diesel is a good example. It usually has only around half or less of the pistols turn.

I pulled the plant and put it into another room that is completely dark. will give it 24 hrs of dark and harvest. the only thing I am worried about is I expected it to take another week or two So it hasn't been completely flushed. Just stopped nuets two feedings ago. are they gonna taste like shit or is there a way to flush them faster at this stage?

why not just give them the extra time needed for a proper flush?

when u think your ready too harvest, wait a week then harvest....usualy a good standard for someone who doesnt know the science.....
if u got a microscope, 10x on yoour bud, and you white pistils should be 55-70% brown

This is what I would have said. The trichs may turn from more of a milky color to a amber color and effect the high you get(more amber is a more body why milky leads to a more heady high).
1 Week isn't going to matter a whole lot either way seeing that you aren't really pushed for time.

ok. Works for me. I will put her back under the light for another week. I was just going based off what I have read. I used an illuminated loupe 40x-25mm. So I am pretty sure I am not miss reading it. Its just a matter of I haven't done this before so I am double checking with individuals who have the experience. but I will take the advice of the growery because it hasn't failed me yet. thank you gentelmen.
