I'd only be able to do a surrealistic portrait-- think my style but in the shape of a dog with representative shapes according to how your dog is. !!! I don't know if your mom would appreciate that or not :lol:

I love doing that technique... basically, set the camera to do a long exposure in pitch blackness, and you paint in the light wherever you want it. I went over with my ipod backlight-- the longer you hold it on a certain area, the bigger the highlights.

Really good practice for lighting.

The typography gets a little squished to the right side, I can tell you wrote it left to right-- typography consists of visual symbols; you don't draw someone right from head to toe. Think of typography the same way, planning it out visually and whatnot. You make some wicked shapes so having it spaced properly would be ace.
