Howdy everyone greetings, I am looking for some feedback for a good friend of mine. He has a E&F setup using a 400 hps now he is 18/6 and his plants are about 4-8 inches he wants to do a Sea of Green and he doesnt know when to switch to the HPS 12/12 he is presently running 18/6 floresant. He only has 48 inches of upward space.
3 questions 1) Whats the maximum plants can he fit in a 3 ft x 2 ft tray(ebb & Flow) for a sea of green? 2)How old and what size should he move his plants into the HPS 12/12? 3)When plants are young can you tell the difference between male and female by their size,I have 4 mango seedlings and 2 are almost 30% bigger than the other 2, does this indicate anything?
