 Bamboo pipe okay?

I made a new piece today and I'm wondering what all of you think of it. It's made from bamboo I grabbed from outside, a metal socket, and some wire mesh for a screen.
See theres a carb.
Idk if you can see it but there is the mesh for a screen.
So what do you all think? I wanted to make a wooden bowl but i guess I'll do that for my next piece. Other than that are there any suggestions you guys have to improve this?

That's fun, what kinda metal screen? I'd've put the carb at the very end, like a steamroller, to more efficiently clear the chamber. Pretty cool, mate.

It's just like. This mesh stuff because the hole in the bowl is pretty big and I dont want any stuff to fall through when I pack the bowl. And thank I will probably do that with the carb the next time. My old pipes didnt even have carbs so I'm kind of experimenting with them right now.

Gotcha. I just asked about the mesh because certain metals probably shouldn't be heated and inhaled, like aluminum. But many metals are fine (hence metal pipes). Despite that, as a kid I smoked outta aluminum cans/foil a few times.

I made sure it was safe. I've smoked out of aluminum a couple times as well before I found out how bad it is. So I make sure the metal I use is safe

Kickass. Got any big bamboo? Make a bong! We once made a 4 foot tall, multi-tube hookah. Really only a novelty, though, since you can't see inside the chamber, and it required >2 people to attain enough pressure.

Ahaha I'm going to have to try that sometime. So would I make it entirely of bamboo? or what else would I use? Sorry I'm kind of new to all of this

I've seen plenty of bamboo pipes. I think that will work great.
