Dude last month I heard a band for the first time called 10 ft. Ganja Plant. They got some dudes from John Browns Body in that band. I'll admit they are a lot more old school sound than what I am used to currently but they are still really good.

Yea 10 ft is great. I like that they do a lot of instrumental/dub stuff. I wasn't aware it was some of the same band members though.

Yeah shocked me too. The instrumentals are awesome, I didn't expect the instrumentals since I halfway expected them to sound like Fortunate Youth or one of those bands. I bought Bass Chalice and Hillside Airstrip and haven't even made to the latter because I'm still digging bass chalice.
I think I read that on Wikipedia or a band bio page or something.
When I saw New Kingston, they had their father play bass in the band with them and evidently he is from an original reggae group as well, just cant remember which one.
