A message from Australia to Europe and the world

Sam Kekovich is Australia's lambassador, and every year before Australia day (Jan 26th) he releases a message to help cure the world of unaustralianism, they're usually pretty good so I thought you guys would enjoy a look at his 2011 message to Europe
It's all in good fun to help promote Australia day and its local Lamb producers, so on January 26th everyone should join Australia in cracking a beer and throwing some meat on the BBQ!

Lamb is frequently on menu in US, but I have never seen it barbecued. I have been in a lot of exotic restaurants and several Brazilian BBQs, but never saw lamb barbecued. It doesn't surprise me because a lot of American barbecue is done with cheaper cuts of meat. Lamb is comparatively more expensive.
Is it like what Americans do with pork and beef? Basically some method of slow cooking on a grill/smoker followed by using a special dry rub or sauce?
Great video.

I'm gonna call my dad and get a few recepies up in the munchies forum, but as Lucas said, salt and pepper is good enough for most people I know, I would do it now but I'm on my iPhone as I drive back down south from my holiday, these floods are making my trip rather hazardous so it's gonna take an extra day, but as soon as I'm back home and on a comp I'll make an Australia day food thread for all you Americanos that wanna help us celebrate!
