you know what i did in english class? I came to class stoned out of my mind every day, i chugged vodka in the back of class, i put dead fish in the ceiling tiles. i put a gallon of old milk and orange juice in the file cabinet before winter vacation. i brought snakes in a tied up sweater and let them loose during class. i didnt go to school to learn, i went because i had to. i didnt care, and i didn't fucking listen to that stupid bitch. and i still don't fucking care. i tore the pages out of her books and burned them, and threw away all the books in the class, two books per day.

Awesome video Bats. Albert King is great. So was SRV, and his brother Jimmie too. I love that thick sound Albert King gets from his guitar with the fingerpicking. Sounds golden. A lot of people don't understand that all this is where rock n roll came from.
Oh yeah, who are these other kings you speak of?

freddie king
and of course b.b. king
They're all great really but albert king was the biggest influence other than jimi of course on srv playing, and srv is a big influence when I play blues, so his style sticks out most to me. That and he played a right-handed guitar left handed without restringing, meaning the high E is at the top instead of the bottom. Created a unique bending style.

I didn't know you meant their last names were King I thought you meant they were like kings of blues Good vids though man. I love this music so much. Here's a good one.
I think it's from Clapton's Crossroads Festy, not sure though. What's funny to me is that it probably took about 5 minutes of rehearsal with all these guys. The other white guy besides Clapton is SRV's brother Jimmie. He's pretty damn good too. Check this out.

Oh definitely. There was a lot of guys who weren't necessarily really, really famous who were really good. Some of the people we've already named in this thread. The part where Jimmie and Stevie switch necks is just rubbing it in

I'm sure I've posted tommy emmanuel before but most people haven't seen him play an electric. Absolutely amazing. I should be seeing him in February.
