 Why do embedded flash videos (YouTube,etc) not work for me?

When I had autoplay flash disabled, it would show a picture with a Flash icon on it and when clicked nothing would happen.
When I enabled autoplay flash (in shroomery options) now nothing appears where the flash video should be.
BTW, I'm using Firefox.

I have flash 9. I can go to YouTube and play the video, it's just that I can't play it in the forums.
