yeah pretty fucked up
that kid ran for miles 
it says something about their quality of life, if a child is willing to run that far just for some clean water

terrible situation to be faced with. what makes it worse is the soldiers go through all these horrible things, then once they are traumatized and no longer fit to be on the front line, they are sent home and forgotten about. there's not enough help for these guys once they get back.
