I went with the 3 basic nutes grow big, big bloom and tiger bloom. I cant afford spending another $90 on the dry supplements though. I might go with another companies stuff if it would help, but I'd like it to only be one more bottle not another 3 part. Any suggestions welcome.

I use that trio along with Snowstorm Ultra, Gravity and some molasses.
I've never found my result to be lacking anything except yeild (which is due to short veg time and low lighting, nothing to do with the nutes really).
Great flavor and certainly top quality buds. I'm sure a lot of it has to do with genetics as well though.
Gravity is a bit pricey, but I got an 8 oz (?) bottle of it on the cheap. You can also find Snowstorm in smaller bottles for like $8.

Yup tap water and no epsom salts. I'm keeping it as simple as I can like the average new grower basically does. The reason for using Fox Farm Grow Big for soil is that some places around here don't carry the hydro version.
