I have no idea who all these new people are any more. I don't know if it's cause im old or have just dropped out of the mainstream in music. I hope the latter.

I know plenty of non-mainstream music that sucks too.
I pretty much like the song, because I agree with the lyrics.

Who cares if it's mainstream or not? If it's new and on TV it almost certainly sucks.

i was thinking, if it's on tv, it's mainstream by default. at least the tv that most people watch.

Yet no reason given as to why it sucks.
Something being mainstream doesn't automatically make it a bad song.

I don't like his whiny voice so I don't like the song.
And to the others, there are plenty of mainstream songs that are catchy and easy to listen to.
Don't dismiss it just because because it doesn't live up to your cool alternative/hippie ideals.

Sure. But I still hate it for being formulaic used in a non-music market, ie... retarded people who can't help but support these hacks and the recording industry.

OKAY
Yeah, and when I hear them I go... "ahaa! so there is still good music."
I look into the band or artist and so and so forth... I ain't gonna say I see that enough though to warrant me saying that this or that kinda music from the "mainstream", or whatever, is any good.
Because it ain't. There is almost no chance of seeing something original. I try to keep up to date with all music even the shit I know I am probably only going to get a laugh out of, and it's just THAT RARE that I'll hear something that actually makes me think... Well that was "catchy"... ANNND different then the rest of the crap that tries to sell itself as "easy and catchy".
So thus, I hold my view on this type of material as such.

And your hippies ideals? No, they are correct, right? You SAW the light! Hallelujah!
EDIT: When I use the spell sheck, it always tells me my username should be changed to "intransigent".
LOL, SO TRUE.

Was there missed punctuation somewhere in there?

Regardless, you know the message of a song is as important as the structure. I mean to me half of the mars volta shit I hear or something like that just sounds like random noises that don't even have a message.
I tend to hate instrumentals too unless they are something bad ass like Frankenstein.
And for something new and not mainstream..

Mars Volta shit?
Mars Volta = Mars Volta... and yeah...they have a message, it's in symbolism.
How do you you not find a message in any song? I do.
And... here is something not mainstream either.
W00t
Don't dismiss it now, it has an awesome message... here are some lyrics for it too.
Life is over we lost history forever The way of existence never changed Born in darkness dying in darkness
Even the light telling time to BEGIN is a symbol of the END

What? What did I do to deserve that? I read your post... I checked out your crappy dub (dub, which I am afraid is the 30 billionth reiteration of electronica and I wish I didn't have to tell you it sucks balls and it's only for people who like assplay)
I already know that fucking Frankenstien off from the start and if I wanted to hear that song again, it would be when I am being hung and quartered. (no, literally, hung and then drawn and quartered.)
What? Don't like anything you are introduced to that isn't from the sixties or an overdone receptive "style" of electronic music?
THERE, now you can give your little rolleyes... BURK-DEE-DURP! I must be a jackass for listening to Zeni Geva!
EDIT: Just wait.. a couple more will suffice, don't you think?

And BTW...I had to clarify. This comment is useless and almost idiotic. Here, do me a favor... if you have to, just think of what I am saying in your head as if what you were reading was a white trash hick... or some black guy with a lisp talking. And stop looking for your proper punctuation. I AM using proper punctuation, YOU are just not seeing it.

The Mars Volta for the motha fucking win! All day! That raspy voice is an acquired taste. Also, NO ONE needs to justify what they like or why they like it, for anyone else. One of the main reasons I like the band tool is because the lyrics are written in such a way that they may mean one thing to me and something completely different to you. Everyone experiences music differently. i dont even know what's being argued here.

No one does. But I will say dubstep rarely gets a chance to go anywhere interesting. Deadmau5 sucks... (juuust... throwin' that out there) And 60's music is awesome and Frankenstein, now that's a catchy song but I ALREADY KNOW IT BY HEART.
It's not much for me to go do-do-do and think oop, I can go on youtube and check out my favorite silly track again
But it's ok... cause i'm booeddocks, bro, right?
<3

Oh, I'm just not seeing the proper punctuation?

That bold part is what makes me confused man, I don't get what you mean. You hate it for following a set pattern used in a non-music market.
I don't really give a shit, I was just.

So is there a cannabis site around with actual adult humans? Or just this one with clueless college students and underaged foster children?
