Cracking knuckles is a result of relieving excess internal gas or something like that; I've actually always felt, due to other physiological sensations, that weed causes some kind of pressure build up in the body...

 A more logical explanation would be that it soothes your nerves and relaxes your muscles so you could be able to crack the knuckles more easily because your not so tense.

No, when I'm high, cracking my knuckles is like cracking them when I first wake up in the morning (even better, actually.) Every possible bone cracks. Also, marijuana contains about 66 drugs, one of which is THC.
@FarBeyondDriven, the cracking sound bones make is actually gas popping out of crevices.

Well, with all that being said and the fact I don't feel like lookin the shit up, I'll have to wait for verification from other Growery members bout the 66 drugs(i'm skeptical myself) and gas knuckles who are all smart n whatnot cuz I'm pretty fuckin stewpid myself. Needless to say I am skeptical of your claims.

I'm not 100%, I'll admit, but I'm not sure if all cannabinoids are dr00gz or psychoactive or whatever. I don't know all that chemical compound stuff, but I'm sure somebody will be in this thread to tell either me or you that we're wrong.

Well drugs don't have to produce an external effect to be considered such but I do believe all cannabinoids bind with receptors, producing some pharmacological effect, making them drugs.
And yes, the sound is made from popping bubbles in you synovial fluid that surrounds your joints.
