What are you studying?

--------------------
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

I was talking about Carl Jung and synchronicty at a conference last april with another guy who studied jungian psychology all his life.  Anyway, it was like a 10 minute conversation as we walked from one place to another.  Along the way there were at least three sychronistic (sp?) events.  It was really fucking weird.  He was talking about his old roommate from Stanford whom he hadn't seen in a long time.  Then the next thing we know he shows up right in front of us.  His roommate was Dr. James Fadiman.  If you don't know him, look him up.  I can't remember specifics of the other events that happened but we were both like WTF!?  Psychedelic pioneers ftmfw!!!!!

Strange stuff, Those kinds of concepts I came to realize on my own years ago. Never knew they had names to it. I really gotta start reading more into psychology. :toke:

1) that's pretty awesome to say the least

2) what type of conference was it?

3) Considering how many events the normal person experiences everyday, a few are bound to turn up that seem to have some significant connection to the individual.  Think of it in terms of rolling dice constantly, everyday: eventually, at some point, you'll roll 6 "6's" on the 6th hour of the day
