Ok so these bad girls are 9 days from being sowed and 6 days from germination In my opinion, based on two past grows, they are growing slow. The new leaves appear thin and show spotting. I though I started them off and watered them yesterday with 6.7 pH distilled water, but come to find out it was more like 5.5-5.7 pH. Damn $90 Digital pH meter. Sure you stay calibrated for up to 2 weeks... When I discovered that my pH meter was giving me a bad reading, I re-watered (yesterday) with distilled water adjusted to 7.1 pH. I believe all is cause by the low pH water but I need reassurance.
#1 are my assumptions correct? #2 was my decision to re-water a good one? #3 what should I do from here?
As coda said one watering with a low ph isn't going to affect the plant much. He should have been more worried about over watering the plants than he should have been about ph at that point. Like coda said next time just wait till it dries out to give it the proper ph'd water
Yep it really only added more stress. Now that I think about it, they were not an any danger. Some times the hardest thing to do is nothing at all. New growers overreact to everything. I'm still a newb.
