pH fluctuations. A little insight please.

I'm about 3 days into flowering using FF nutes, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom per their feeding schedule. I don't have an EC meter but I change the reservoir (12 gallons) every week. The pH has always remained stable until now. I keep it at 6.0, the plants look fantastic. I've had to top off the tank about every 1-2 days as they are sucking up a gallon or two a day. This usually doesn't effect the Ph by much, so I only have to tweak it a bit now and then. Tonight though I found the Ph around the 4.5 to 5.0 range after topping off the thank. Usually adding tap water raises the Ph so the reservoir must have been really acidic. So what do ya think is going on here? Are the plants just drinking the water and leaving all the nutes behind. Maybe I screwed up my last adjustment, I don't know. Any insight would be appreciated.

You've probably got a huge buildup of salts in there, I would change the water personally. Thats my shot in the dark.

I just flushed the entire system, dunno, three-four days ago, then changed the tank like I do weekly. Do you think they are still leaching out from the flush?

Yea, I agree with you...Probably going to be from the flush. Obviously its nothing to worry too much about, but I'd say yes it was due to the flush.
Are you stiring up your nutes regularly? Giving a nice stir from the bottom up.
Any type of fungus growing in your res possibly? No light leaks? Just throwing a few obvious things out there.
I honesly don't have a lot of hydro experience..At least in the sense of using a huge res for water/nutes..Usually dont by hand.

Flowering ferts, high in P and K will affect the pH of your water differently than veg. ferts high in Nitrogen. So how you adjusted your water during your veg. growth stage will have to be altered when using the flowering ferts.
