Pick a number between 1-9
multiply by 3
add 3
multiply by 3 again
now add the 2 digits together.

Nope. I got Home Alone.
Pulp Fiction, Fear and Laothing, and The Matrix are my favorites from that list. But there are also a few close seconds.

Anytime you multiply a number by 9 the resulting digits can be added up to equal 9.
9 x 5 = 45
4 + 5 = 9
or you can go a few steps further...
1002.87 x 9 = 9025.83
9+2+5+8+3=27
2 + 7 = 9
The only time I can't make this work is with numbers that have infinite decimal places... like the square root of 7 x 9.... or 1/3*9

A tip so this still works on math nerds, next time state "Pick an integer between one and nine". Being a math nerd, I picked pi for my number and then got confused when it said 'add the two digits together'.
