Oh well. One of my friends is convinced that you wouldn't age at all while travelling in deep space. He likes to bring it up ever now and then when we're all blazed. I'm in no way capable of remembering all of the details to how it's supposed to work.

It's not so much that you age differently but that the world around you is moving faster in time in relation to yourself. This phenomenon is theorized when an object approaches the speed of light.
If you wanted to age more slowly hibernation is a possibility.

What if everyone's perception of color was different, and what I thought green looked like was completely different to what everyone else saw. What I think is blue, could be what you see as red.

What if everything is what it is because of all of the things that it isn't?
For example what if an apple is only an apple because it's not all of the things that an apple isn't; stove, microwave, TV, owl, sand....
Like negative impressionism or some shit..

Man, I've had that same one. Over and over again. I didn't read it anywhere, I thought of it years and years ago. And now I see it all over the internet and always . It must be a common thinker for smokers.
Also - what if the air, all of a sudden, for just a second or two turned into spaghetti. The air in your lungs would be safe, only people inhaling at the time would have their lungs spagettified. The laws of physics aren't going to apply here, so the weight of the spaghetti wouldn't crush us all.
Think how scary that would be. If suddenly everything around you was just spaghetti.

The closer you get to light speed the slower time goes, it is a big problem when synchronizing with satellites (like GPS)
