Yeah I've thought of this one before, especially after psychedelics such as psilocybin and LSD.
But yeah, since we are able to associate things by shades and "how it makes us feel" I think colors are the same (unless you are color blind of course!) Which begs the question... how do people know they are colorblind?

people can tell they are colorblind when 2 or more colors look the same. it may also make certain colors vibrate, I know the crunch berry box used to be a good test
Oh ok, so its a problem differentiating colors... that makes sense.
