 been kinda sick lately

really bad ear ache and headache, with a little bit of soar throat and sinus pain. i went to a doctors appointment yesterday and they ruled out the stuff like ear infection and strep. anyway, since i am a vegetarian they think it's a diet problem. i get migraines, but not really sure if that's what is going on.
anyway, got an idea of what it might be?
will some  help it?

That's why I dislike the mentatility of most vegetarians(BTW, this isn't directed at you, so don't take offense to it)
It could be the adderall, as well.

In any case there will be a desire to switch to a vegan diet in the coming future. We can't support the growing population with convention methods of raising animals for meat. They take up too many resources, unless of course we just start growing genetically growing steaks.

Since it sounds like you're not being a vegetarian for moral reasons why not try to stomach some chicken noodle soup or something with a chicken broth?
Definitely don't go out and get a red meat as going from vegetarian to full on red meat usually causes stomach pains. Besides, I doubt you'd even want to.
Something very light with a small amount of chicken/broth would probably help in some way.
Whatever you choose make sure to drink plenty of fluids and to eat even if you're not hungry/thirsty. TAKE VITAMINS! If you can't drink a lot of water because of your throat I find that those fizzy things you can put in drinks are extremely helpful and relieve the pain temporarily.

The original statement was concerning whether or not we are DESIGNED to be vegetarians. Not whether or not a vegetarian diet can be maintained today. It is not how we are designed.
Besides that there's plenty of contradictory research that finds the reduction in certain conditions consistent with a lean protein diet. Of course too much red meat is unhealthy, but there's plenty of research that lean meats are of benefit to overall health.
Not to say you can't be a vegan/vegetarian and be healthy, but to suggest that by eating meat you're less healthy than those who don't, there's not enough evidence to conclude that as you claim and plenty of evidence to contradict such claims.

And you were setting that you can be vegetarian and healthy. But your further statements to suggest that you are less healthy by eating meat has been found false in numerous studies. As I've said before, a balanced diet with meat and plants are what we, as omnivores, are DESIGNED to consume.

It's not to say that humans shouldn't eat vegetables, we should, but we also need to eat meat too. Healthy for you or not, meat's good, and I'm fuckin eatin it. I don't know how many vegetarians are on this site, but ya'll smoke weed too, which isn't necessarily healthy for you, not the worst thing, but not the best thing either, but ya'll just basically gave up one thing for another.

Never once did I say we are not omnivores, and capable of consuming flesh, it is pretty obvious we can, and that done right it can be healthful. The original statement was that we are not designed to be vegetarians, not that we are designed to be omnivores, but that is clearly more than possible as well. Without design how can there be function?
People are still saying you need meat, yet I provided a link to a study conducted for 20 years by someone with (this is getting old), impeccible credentials, that proves otherwise...
The long and the short of it, it can be healthy to eat meat, it can be healthy to be a vegetarian, you do not need to be one or the other.

Well of course design and function are related but just because one is capable of doing something doesn't mean that was it's intended purpose. It's intended DESIGN. Tools can be multifaceted but the fact remains that a tool usually has a single intended purpose. Which is where this argument stems. No where did I say you need meat. But the study you linked to suggested it is less healthy to do so, which is plain false and clearly a conflict of interest.
In fact in a 1999 meta study, which combined the data of 5 separate studies from western countries, it reported that fish eaters have a lower mortality rate than that of vegetarians, with occasional meat eaters tied with vegetarians. Vegans and regular meat eaters have the highest mortality rates.

That's not an argument anyways. Just philosophy. Besides he's talking about sustaining human population in the future, to which I would agree unless we find a way to produce meat without the need for pasture and feed.
Einstein was a better physicist imo than a philosopher, but to each his own I guess.

I dont want any particular thing to be true, only to seek out the truth. You are making an assumption about my character which you have no basis for (which I think is equally absurd), have I even said I believe in vegetarianism?

Excuse my presumption, that was more intended as a sort of "general 'you'," meant for all those who use these types of arguments. I just kinda jumped on your throat because you were available while I was annoyed.
I understand that the credentials are there to strengthen your points. I was mainly trying comment on the fact that your argument, and many others like it, seems to depend on the recognition that this dude is "better qualified" to make these judgments than us laypeople. Aside from being a major fallacy, it makes even good discussions degrade to "he said, she said" bickering. Better to present evidence as it is, without all the gilt.
