Shouldn't those be a bit bigger for veggn for 1 month already?
How much money does your HPS light cost you? I can't even do a grow with my brothers 1000watt ballast and 1000watt HPS light because the electricity
I wish i could use HID lights to veg for a good outdoor plant but the electricity sucks and i veg with cfl's instead
Im surprised your HPS just died on you like that though...i watched my brothers whole HPS light fall ON HIS PLANTS and smack the ground and it still worked when he put it back up
The light falling turned em hermi,...but the light was still good

Well I'm growing from seed, and I'm using LST so that's designed to keep them short and fat. I wish I could ge a good shot of the stem to illistrait how well it's working
And the HPS didn't die it turns out, just needed a cooldown before being turned back on

Looking great! I love how bushy HID+LST makes plants. Just wait until you run out of places to tie the branches to (only a few weeks by the looks of things! )

They are small because of a smei late transplant, did you not see the root mass in the transplant pictures? When they bind like that they don't get huge, you watch now as they get used to their bigger homes, they will explode in two weeks.

Looking good! I trained mine pretty much identically to yours', except I used some coated electrical wiring.
You are right about your plants looking sativa-like, though.

Thanks for the comments
My fucking HPS is off again, I had to turn it off to put up the CFL and it wouldn't come back on, I thought it just needed a cool down like last time but its still off today
Everyone needs to pray for me it will come back on.

If they try and fuck you, you should expose their site. That is, if you didn't drop that shit at any time after your purchase.

Well I got it from a legal Australian wholesaler so exposure isn't a road I can take unfortunately hahaha. And as soon as I got it out of the box I treated it better than I treat myself, I haven't even touched the bulb with my fingers since I got it, I only handle it using a mirofiber cloth.

The girls are looking awesome! This is the exciting part, where they start getting big and causing problems. Sneaking out to meet their boyfriends in the middle of the night, smokin' and cussin'...

That's what I use, and I highly recommend it over zip ties. I've never used the latter for LST, but I can see some disadvantages compared to coated wire: having to cut them off and use new ones when you want to change something, the risk of their sharp-ish edges damaging the plant, and the ability to tightly twist the wires around a branch to temporarily hold it (like if it doesn't want to be trained that way, you can snag it very tightly with the wire, and untwist it once it has grown comfortable with its new position--if you do this with a zip tie, it'd be hard to cut off without cutting your plant). The fact that it's reusable is probably one of the biggest pluses, though; you can't run out! Just a little food for thought. I got a spool of green coated wire at Home dePot for $5 (enough to tie down my four plants and still have half left). They sell similar products at some garden centers (in the US, at least, idk about Oz).

Yea I might get some coated wire, I'm having some issues with the Zip ties as they're kind of violent when I zip them up, and it causes me to jerk in a direction at my plants sometimes, which today has caused me to snap one of the stems on the topped plant
The 400W HPS is still not working today, I'm assuming its dead. The seller isn't offering any form of resolution yet and I'm getting really impatient. I can see that the plants are starting to stretch a little bit already, I had to tie them down again today. I really do not want to flower under 160W of CFL
Here's some photos of the snapped stem. It looks pretty bad in the photo and I suppose its not exactly good but I'm not hugely concerned, it should take it as a suppercrop and thicken up after a few days, or it will die off and it will be topped again
Thanks for all the support so far, it makes it alot more fun to update a log with viewers
