 pot size for autoflowers?

is a 16 oz cup enough or would a 2 liter or 3 liter produce more also what kind of soil would be best i heard the autos burn easy being so small should i stay away from all types of miracle grow maybe go with some jiffy mix or similar seed starter and maybe add a little miracle grow blue water after a month or so i plan on using 150 watt hps 20 hours a day

Stay away from all miracle grow products. It makes the smoke harsh.
I've grown af's 4 times now. Used the 3 liter bottles. They hold just over 1/2 gal.
Get 7 to 14 grams per plant.
I start the plants off in 16 oz cups. Been thinking of growing all the way thru bud. May try this.

how much root do u get on the outside of the 3 liter how tall are the plants getting and what kind of lighting do you use? what strain is it?
do you think jiffy mix would be a good soil for these or should I just get the cheapest soil I can find and add some perlite?

The roots will fill up the container.Pot root grow fast.When I pulled the plants from the pots after harvest they were full.
Plants were 7 to 14 inch's tall.
This last grow veg'ed under T5HO and flowered under 1000 hps.
Next time I think I will take to completion with the T5HO.

For soil I use Ocean Forest/Fox Farms and their nutes.

i've heard if u put these autos in a small pot they will grow very short a 16 0z cup will only make a 6" tall plant with a few grams but u can pack a lot of them into a small area
I plan on growing in a short cabinet so ill probably go with 16 oz cups or a bunch of pot that are slightly bigger
I'll defrinately stay away from the mg
I have some jiffy mix should I add some fertilizer to it, i can get some cow manure, chicken manure and bloodmeal, and bonemeal,(not too sure exactly what blood and bone meal are for) and I think i can get some fish emulsion or some kind of fish fertilizer i heard that was good for weed

If your going soil use good soil.
U'll get more potent plants.
This winter I'll do a grow in 16 oz cups, under the T5HO. Could be fun.

how bad do the ak47xdiesel and the diesel ryder smell. I'm trying to keep smell down but still want a decent yield.
