temperature fluctuations during drying

i'd like to be able to dry my nearly-complete buds in my barn. i can create adequate airflow, and i think the humidity will be okay.
temperature is another issue. there look to be no frosts in my area in the next two weeks, but the temperature has been dropping to the 40's and 50's at night here. others have mentioned 70 degrees fahrenheit is ideal, but will it be detrimental to the smoke if they're left out overnight there? the curing i will be able to do indoors, so i don't have a problem with this. this is my first grow, the plants look and smell gorgeous but of course i don't want to muck it all up in a single stroke. i can't wait to share some of the pics with you guys.
what's the verdict? thanks in advance for helping someone in need. peace.

I think if the lowest it gets is 40s you're probably okay. Only thing that would worry me overmuch is freezing temperatures for prolonged periods of time.
