You can split any bag, shit the place I go will let you split grams. I always pick out the best 3-4 even when getting an 1/8th. I smoke about $200 worth of weed a month, more if entertaining friends....... I should grow but I live in a tiny apartment. thems the breaks.

but are there any restrictions on growing in the apt? how does that work over there? I remember hearing that the feds were shaking down landlords who had tenants that grew pot, and when busted they seized the owners property. So based on that i would say its pretty much forbidden unless you own the place and want to take the risk. ???

I don't know about Cali, but up here in Wash, it's fine in apartments. As long as the apartment manager/owner is fine with it, there's no issue. It's simply a matter of whether or not you're in compliance.

Nah I could do it here legally... or legal-ish enough. The problem is just space and the time left on the lease isn't enough to grow some weed. Maybe if I started right when I moved in, I could have pulled 2-3 very small closet harvest. but I just got to Cali and was nervous and unfamiliar with the rules. After living here for close to 9 months, I now know I could have grow since day one without ever getting in any legal trouble. It's tolerated here more than anywhere in the US, and cops only really go after people with weight or who are in clear violation of state law. I can legally grow 6 mature plants or 10 clones.

Supposed to move out of this place this winter, after that I should be in a place with a yard..... and hopefully marijuana will be legalized here Nov 2 and I can grow a few more than 6 plants. The reason I dont grow in the apartment is because I'm crammed in this place like a sardine already, I cant make room for 6 plants when I dont even have a dinner table.

From what I understood reading the text of that bill, you'd only have 25 sq feet to work with...

I think that would be regulated about as much as the legal notice on mattress tags. 5 x 5 would be plenty and if legalized, everyone and there mother would be growing marijuana indoors and outdoors, on and off their land, with and without consent from state and local authorities....... especially if they can still make $4,000 for a pound of marijuana.
What other small house plant can produce flowers that sell for $20 a gram? A small bedroom or closet can grow dozens of pounds of marijuana in only 3 months and be sold the day it's harvested to a collective legally. All without ever letting the police know they've even heard of marijuana. Fuck oranges, grapes and corn marijuana is a much better crop.
And now the guv'ment wants they cut, Jack Herer said fuck that shit.

Yea, that's probably true, but if they legalize it, I have a feeling that'll drive the price for it WAY down. IMO, since it'll be easier to get, people will drop their prices in order to keep their customers. People just coming into the now-legal market will be marketing theirs at lower prices, in order to entice those customers from other people.

In California the price might drop, but once legalized dank will continue to flow out of the state to the rest of the country for the same inflated street prices. Which will lead people to deal illegally to out of state buyers that are willing to pay $2000-$4000 for a pound. I dont think the price of OG Kush is going to drop any time soon because of this. Greyhound, Amtrak, and U-haul should make a killing come December. I just hope it becomes legal so I can put pot plants on a porch, and have a couple mason jars full of kush at all times. Some more industrious types will get rich just by owning land, or a big ass truck.

And then what happens when the whole west coast makes it legal though? Honestly, if Cali makes it legal this year, I think it'll be two, MAYBE three years till Washington follow's suit, and Oregon probably will too...
