 What was your first strain and why?

So, what was the first strain you decided to buy from a seedbank, and what made you select it? Did it fulfill what you wanted it to do?
Bagseed doesn't count, talking about strains.
I cannot really answer because when I grew I didn't take the chance to order seeds and grew bagseed.
I can say this though, I have smoked some real belladonna about a year ago and it was byfar my favorite smoke I've ever smoked.
So if I were to choose a strain to grow, I'd get belladonna. A sativa high that grows like an indica

my first time i got master kush and also some white widow... my favorite is still the ww to this day even tho i hardly ever see it around

I was thinking of buying seeds for the first time as I'm feeling ready for them now. When I look at seeds I just think of what I remember liking the most. It's a tie between Blueberry, Jack Herer, or OG Kush. I'm leaning towards the Blueberry, but speaking of it, whats the story with Blueberry? I know a bunch of seed banks have Blueberry seeds but is the original shit around anywhere??

Hmm, i think it was Bog's lifesaver. I had wanted to try it for a long long time and it finally became available. I haven't grown it out yet.

The only Blueberry I would recommend is DJ Short's, I think he was the orginal breeder as well, but not to sure on that.
My first real strain was Nirvana Ice.

I think DJ Short's was too, widow by far but my favorite strain is blackberry kush.

AK x Diesel autoflower, because they were very kindly donated to me, and I felt I could learn more from trying an autoflower first (one less thing to fuck up, right?).
Before that it was bagseed.
And from the seeds I ordered? Spicy White Devil (blueberry x Jack Herer) and Wappa.
I've come to the conclusion that there is no "bad weed" (maybe bad genetics, but I'm sure anything can be worked around) just people who don't know what the fuck they are doing. I've been smoking for almost 10 years now, and ALL the weed I have grown has been the best weed I've ever smoked. And I'm someone who hates to give myself any credit, even when its due haha.

you are correct. In his book he talks extensively about all the work he put into it. It's a very interesting read.

The first and last strains that I grew were Grand daddy purple and bubba kush from Berkeley patients collective. Why? Because I asked my dealer to go pick up $100 worth of indica clones for me and that is what he brought.

dr,greenthumbs og kush incredible high best ive ever had however i paid 225 for 11 seeds all female and they stayed all fem however he said 9 weeks flowering time. It went 13 weeks and very low yield. Now for the why because who hasnt heard about how great og is i jumped on the bandwagon.
