Is it possible to give flowering plants Gravity prior to the 4th week without negative effects?

Use Bushmaster. Made by the same company for early in the flowering phase.

Thanks Magash. Will Bushmaster help with slowing vertical growth?

Good info I hear of a lot of people burning up their crops with that stuff. Is this something I should be worried about? I'm using your flora nova and kool bloom mixes.

I'm growing aero and right now I have 4ml Flora grow and 4ml Flora bloom per gallon in my reservoir right now. Anyone know of a safe dosage I can add to my reservoir? I have 2weeks left before a reservoir change.

Yah, I'd be cautious with the bushmaster.  Lots of complaints on burning out the plant.  Most threads I've read people have raised their lights for a bit to help reduce any stress/problems.

Never used it myself though so don't quote me, but as with any new additive you should start out with smaller doses and work up.

Yeah I think I'm just gonna put my nutes in a different container, and use it at .5ml/gallon plain water for 3 days. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

I'm telling ya use that shit sparingly it is really easy and I mean easy to fuck up your plants with it.

Well the label said to use 1ml/gallon so I figured I'd cut it in half to start.

Just switched my reservoir back to the normal bloom nutes. I ran bushmaster at .5ml/gallon for three days and it has worked like charm, no vertical growth for the past two days. Now I just hope it stays that way since the nute change. Thanks Magash!

When i used bushmaster, i foliar fed it to my girls, very simple and i felt it would be reaally hard to fuck up, plus this way i didn't have to flush the soil.
you just spray it two nights in a row, can't remember the amount tho so i can't tell you that, but i did 3/4 of what it said to do on the bottle. it worked alright, one cola still grew into the light.. fuckin bushmaster!  :psycrankey:  :grrr: i wouldnt spend money on it.

After you noticed more vertical growth did you give it another dose? The  bottle says you can give it another dose after 5 days. My females were growing taller daily. Even after scrogging the shit out of them and tying branches down, I would have to raise the light every couple days. Either way I will keep you guys posted. Grow log coming the beginning of week 2 of flowering.

oh i didnt kno u could administer again, i would have but oh well they DID stop, just not IMMEDIATELY, within 2 or 3 days tho for sure.  That stuff scared me with all the bad things i heard tho, so i was pretty skeptical about using it. I feel very safe with their other product snowstorm ultra, and i am starting to experiment with gravity, getting a lil more confident but not gonna overdo it.

You never had any problems with snow storm? I'm gonna be using it in a couple weeks and I heard it drops your pm drastically within a 24hr period.

shit i use the snowstorm with every feeding, i foliar feed it every night, sometimes twice even, through the entire flowering process, and i havn't had a problem with it yet! I love the shit too, i mean check this bud out, only on day 15 of 12/12 and look at the amount of trich production already.

Drops your ppm? I don't even understand how that could happen.

I don't if it's possible or not as I have never used it. But when I was at the hydro shop picking up the bushmaster I was reading the label of snowstorm ultra and for hydroponic feeding it says right on the label that if your PPM is at 1200 it can drop it to 800 within 24hrs. And after that it said some strains can handle it some can't. It sound crazy to me, but that's what the label read.
Also I heard of a lot of people using it all the way thru flowering, but a worker at a different hydro shop said some growers were complaining it made there plants hermie. And best used after week 6. But I've found it's best to just experiment on your own when it comes to nutrients.

Actually I found a link of product instructions,
http://www.bghydro.com/BGH/itemMatrix.asp?GroupCode=NEGETSSU00&MatrixType=1

your right it does say that on the label for the hydro.
To clarify, i don't use it in my hydro's because it says caution to using in an aerated res., so i just foliar to my girls in hydro, which was the nug up there.

i think what the label means is that if your ppm is too high, the plant will uptake too much snowstorm ultra, and very rapidly too(like it said within 24 hours) and it could be bad for the plant if it can't handle it.

I don't even risk the hydro part, i like my roots lookin like white pearls

I think it also said to only foliar feed twice a week. So you foliar feed every night all the way thru flowering? Maybe I'll take that route when pick some up.

it dont think that it had any suggestions on how often you foliar feed it, so i asked on here. i got the every night bit of info from harry_ballsach who is a very reliable source in my mind.

I have my one plant which i started flowering 3 weeks early so i could test everything out on it first and make sure everything would work okay, its sort of like the lab rat of this grow.
