ok so ive got a closet that i am growing in. ive got 5 cups with potting soil and a seed in each. ive got two lights both plant lights purchased from my local home improvment store.

Might wanna upgrade the lights a bit. That's a great closet though, you can really do a lot with a space like that.

the lights are philips plant lights 120v. and yes i know i need better lighting but im in fact poor lol. i also have a cfl thats going in there i belive its 48 in long, that im going to run verticly down the middle.

well there all i have and ive got no cash so until i can afford a legit light setup itll have to do. ive got 3 more domes and lights for wen the plants get bigger.

also does anyone have a good idea for fresh air and vetilaiton without cutting holes in closet and without leaving door open all the time. would a tiny fan inside be ok aslong as its not pointed directly at the seedlings and if the door is opened a couple times a day?

ya maybe like 9 dollars a piece for a 30w 150w equivilant.... heres how i see it:
If you are jewish with ur grow setup,
It will rub off on your plants
And they will be jewish at harvest time.
If you spend a little cash here and there, and spoil them, then they will spoil you, and you will reap the rewards!!!
I feel like if i invest a dollar, i get back 20, and if i invest 30 i get back a hundred. Its all worth it. Just think about the end product, keep looking toward your goal.

I think what kickin-two-honda is trying to say is "if you buy nice growing equipment, you will get nice plants."
Thanks for the naivety.
It doesn't matter how much you invest if you don't know what you're doing. That's the truth. You can grow good quality plants by spending very little. Look at all the outdoor growers. It's a matter of how much time and effort you put into learning about the plant and what it needs to grow and then applying that knowledge.
Reading and learning, is what will give you big buds not a 10,000 dollar setup.

It goes both ways....
If you try to grow using the poorest quality lighting indoors, no matter how good of grower you are the lights will hold you back.
And if you can't grow at all then no matter how good the lights are then you may not get good results.
Good growing equipment is worth it as you will still have time to learn with it anyways.
