    #474906 - 09/09/10 10:42 PM (14 years, 4 months ago)

Is it possible to give flowering plants Gravity prior to the 4th week without negative effects?

Thanks Magash. Will Bushmaster help with slowing vertical growth?

Good info I hear of a lot of people burning up their crops with that stuff. Is this something I should be worried about? I'm using your flora nova and kool bloom mixes.

I'm growing aero and right now I have 4ml Flora grow and 4ml Flora bloom per gallon in my reservoir right now. Anyone know of a safe dosage I can add to my reservoir? I have 2weeks left before a reservoir change.

Yeah I think I'm just gonna put my nutes in a different container, and use it at .5ml/gallon plain water for 3 days. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Well the label said to use 1ml/gallon so I figured I'd cut it in half to start.

Just switched my reservoir back to the normal bloom nutes. I ran bushmaster at .5ml/gallon for three days and it has worked like charm, no vertical growth for the past two days. Now I just hope it stays that way since the nute change. Thanks Magash!

After you noticed more vertical growth did you give it another dose? The  bottle says you can give it another dose after 5 days. My females were growing taller daily. Even after scrogging the shit out of them and tying branches down, I would have to raise the light every couple days. Either way I will keep you guys posted. Grow log coming the beginning of week 2 of flowering.

You never had any problems with snow storm? I'm gonna be using it in a couple weeks and I heard it drops your pm drastically within a 24hr period.

I don't if it's possible or not as I have never used it. But when I was at the hydro shop picking up the bushmaster I was reading the label of snowstorm ultra and for hydroponic feeding it says right on the label that if your PPM is at 1200 it can drop it to 800 within 24hrs. And after that it said some strains can handle it some can't. It sound crazy to me, but that's what the label read.
Also I heard of a lot of people using it all the way thru flowering, but a worker at a different hydro shop said some growers were complaining it made there plants hermie. And best used after week 6. But I've found it's best to just experiment on your own when it comes to nutrients.

Actually I found a link of product instructions,

I think it also said to only foliar feed twice a week. So you foliar feed every night all the way thru flowering? Maybe I'll take that route when pick some up.

So I just used Gravity for thr first time and everything was good until I switched back to normal nutes. After I changed my reservoir leaves on 2 seperate branches of different plants started to droop. I adjusted my ph (which was at 5.7) then waited until the next day. The next day everything went downhill with more droopy leaves and yellowing. The colas are fine and standing tall, but most of my leaves are wilted or yellow. Since then I've sitched to plain water, cause I'm guessing they got nute burn.

Should I have fluished the plants after using the Gravity? And do you guys think they will survive the damage? Also the damage has only took it's toll on my White Widow. The Kings Kush being fed off the same reservoir hasn't even flinched. Pics here http://www.growery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/485894

No the ph is usually arouind 5.8. You think the plants will pull thru without completely dying?

Well they still are alive, I've been flushing them for the past 3 days. When do you think I should give them nutes again?  Also after using Gravity how long do you think I should flush before switching them back to normal nutes?  I need to know this befor my next crop comes around, also next crop will be grown DWC. Thanks
