I also dont like bands that make 10 minute songs with the same drum beat over and over again. It's more of an annoying band to me than anything.
I like some of their songs, but I cant listen to it for very long before I get a headache.
Got a pic of your guitar?

I came to class stoned out of my mind every day, i chugged vodka in the back of class, i put dead fish in the ceiling tiles. i put a gallon of old milk and orange juice in the file cabinet before winter vacation. i brought snakes in a tied up sweater and let them loose during class. i didnt go to school to learn, i went because i had to. i didnt care, and i didn't fucking listen to that stupid bitch. and i still don't fucking care. i tore the pages out of her books and burned them, and threw away all the books in the class, two books per day.

The lyrics may mean something to me, but they might mean something completely different to Chillwillis or your. Their songs are open to such interpretation I can't help but find a positive message in each and every song.
This how I feel about A Perfect Circle. The Thirteenth Step is on my top album list. Tool isn't appealing to me.

APC is one of my favorites to trip to, though i haven't listened to one of their albums in years, last time i did was a rough patch in life.
the flaming lips are great, they got together at trinity university where i used to hang around and met my best friend.
theres no threads about instruments and music around here, maybe someone should make one! my main setup is a tom anderson classic strat and an orange thunderverb 50, with several effects.
