Bow season starts sept 11th here I went and put my cam out thurs and have 89 pics on it so far here is a good one 
i have more ill post soon good luck on the upcoming season

With the over population we are getting, the bigger ones are getting more scarce. Someone got the oldman out of season(thats what we called him) a nice 16 point buck that had been hanging around my friends farm for a couple of years. I am hoping for 5 this year or better to fill my deep freezer. Got to wait and see what limit they set for the season. It cost a lot for out of state people to hunt here, I think it was 125 for the first tag last year.

we have an unlimited season here this year on does 2 on bucks the bigger buck in the pic is a huge 8 poinatched and let him walk last yr but i have been seeing several of his offspring now so ill be harvesting him hopefully next saturday. and the other lil buck has to be taken also dont want his genetics here so management time is coming soon

Nice pics you got heady, killroy where are you from? Down here in Mississippi we have an open season on does as well, gotta be a 4pt or better on bucks, had my worst season ever, only got 2 does, I am not prejudiced, sausage is sausage, I got a 45-70 for use during muzzle loader season, thats a hellova gun fellas, it will definitely put em on their ass. Had a big tornado come through my place, got 80 acres, it dropped 1/3 of my hardwoods, not sure how they are gonna react to it this season.

north western MN. We have seasons for deer here. Bow, shotgun/muzzle loader, and depending where you are rifle. I do bow and rifle season. You get your first tag and it is called an open tag(buck or doe) after that bonus tags are doe but some times they only allow 1 bonus or like the last couple of years they have allowed 5 bonus. The population up here is getting out of control and they need to have an open season or at least make it longer

The wife just called me and is on her way to the garden for some fresh peppers and such, she has got the last backstrap we had left and is marinating it now, shes gonna wrap that bad boy with the goodies from the garden and pepper cured bacon, toothpic it and set it on the grill, low and slow baby! Shes gettn the ribs and burgers ready, as well as the tender deer sausage!
We are gonna have some nice viddles for this Labor day holiday fellas!!!
