Hello, I have been buying as much wood as possible this past week I met a guy in Australia that is sending me a few beautiful Red Mallee Burl blanks as well as a couple Horistes Burl blanks. These woods look kinda like a cross between Amboyna Burl and Redwood Burl, they have bright red eyes with wider swirls than the redwood, very vibrant and rich in color. You can Google both and have a look at some of the art to see what has been made from them. I am so excited to get em and work them up. They are still a little wet, more so than I like to work so they are gonna have to sit back for a short while and dry fully. Also have a couple sticks of Tasmanian Blue Gum/Eucalyptus from Hawaii also on the way. It is a dark red/purple wood that has intense ribbon curl and figure that I have never seen, it is dry and will be worked up soon. I spent a few hours in the shop yesterday ripping lumber and blanking out pieces, there is so much to do.
OOOOOOOO I also got a guy up north out west and he has found a guy who is an old timer that has just been importing exotic woods and burl blocks by the pallet loads for years. He has just been putting it back and has never really gone through it, he was really interested in Ausie species and supposedly has it by the tons. My guy got a couple chunks of Claro Walnut just to open the door and work up a relationship with the guy, he is going back this morning to really have a look around and get us some goodies, so I am really excited to hear back from him and his findings.
I have so much to and never enough time, got so much I wanna do and have to do that it just takes time.
Hell I am running out time doing what I have to, that I don't have time to do what I want to!

OOOOOOO got a lot done this past week, been putting together some Asian Amboyna Burl, gonna have Costa Rican Bocote Dugouts back in stock soon, ripped some Tasmanian Blue Gum with hella ribbon curl on all 4-sides, also ripped the Gator Skin Afzelia Burl, gonna try and get all done within the next couple weeks and get em to the photographer round the same time.
The Blue Gum is something I have never seen, I have been buying exotics for a while now and am only seeing this species now. Its figure is so bright and thick, the curl just seems to twist through the whole piece. I may never see this flavor ever again!
Just the same with the Gator Skin Afzelia, it is the same density as the Afzelia I offer now, it looks like the grain rises off the face off the piece, like it should be textured and protruding from it just like on an alligators back, its very trippy! It also may be the last I ever see!

Hello, been really busy down here, I finally got it all together as far as Dugouts for the holidays, these are the best of the best, I have been putting these woods back cause I havent had time to work em in, I just buy em up as soon as I find em.
This one below is Tasmanian Blue Gum, its has a nice red tone with heavy ribbon curl all the way through on all 4 sides.
These are Gator Skin Afzelia Burl, my guys says these are the rarest of rare, hes been going home to Laos for a long time gathering rare woods and burl and says this only occurs about 1 in a 1000.
These are another beuty from South East Asia, Crape Myrtle with super tight curl from top to bottom, these are some of my favorites, finished so well it feels like Ivory in your hands.
These are Big Eye Afzelia Burl, Afzelia with burl eyes like these are becoming increasingly hard to find, these are truly a rarity into themselves.

hey dude, nice items!
i realy like those wooden lighter cases you have particularly the cherry wood one, is it possible to get one thats engraved with something else? like a name and a symbol for example? or do they have to have Edstnt.com on them ???

Been alot happening here at Ed's TnT, got alot of big things that gonna be going next month, it will be the start of my 5th year in business, so the will be some deals going on as well as raffles and giveaway things here and various other places, will have more info in the dats to come.
Got a front cover mention and a 2 page interview/review in the latest issue of Treating Yourself Magazine, feeling really good about it as well as alota other great stuff, will make mention of it all soon!

I stirred up a little buzz with these, I wanted to show you all what I have come up with.
I got the samples from Magic Flight, got right to work on em and these are my first 6, they were alota fun, really small, thought they may have been a little tricky but they spun right out, didnt throw a single one away!
These are 2 1/4" or maybe a little more, slightly larger diameter maybe overall, same size draw hole, with a tapered end, dont have an LB so did the best I could.
Edited and got rid of these pics, they were crap!

I absolutely love that mamuku.. any chance of seeing some pieces from it on your site soon? I have a small lathe myself but haven't touched it in years.. looking at your stuff has got me looking at turning sites and wood dealers.. beautiful stuff
