That's a Hypnic Jerk man, perfectly normal part of human life, some people do it every night, other never do it. It happens to me every now when I'm so tired I'm like passing out in front of T.V. but try to fight it.

It usually happens during stage 1 sleep which is so light that you wouldn't even know you were asleep.

^This.

Also sometimes I get the feeling like I'm falling off the bed and it wakes me up.

But I can always get back to sleep haha.

Sometimes my foot feels like it twitches and shit. Usually it pisses me off because I'm almost asleep. But thats when it happens.

Sleep apnea is where you stop breathing for a little while while you are sleeping. Most people with sleep apnea dont even know they have it.

Unless you are a very big guy I doubt you have sleep apnea, but if you are worried go to a sleep center.

Also, if you have anxiety sleeping is sometimes difficult. Have you been to a psychiatrist yet?

maybe i could, but i do feel like it could be sleep apnea, but if people usually dont know they have it, then its probably just me.
i only got 3 hours of sleep last night, and today i had the worst day ever.
i havent gotten around to getting an appotment yet.

Same here. 4 hrs is the longest I've slept in 25 years. Most the time it's around 2 hrs. I tend to do most of my gardening at night and normal shit in the day time cause of it.

But do you feel constantly exhausted or do you feel like 4hrs is about all the sleep you need in a night? I met some twins in highschool that never slept more than 2-3 hours in a night, but that was all they needed, they felt as refreshed and energetic as anyone else on 1/3rd the sleep

At first I was exhausted all the time but after a few years you get use to it I guess.
