Is this what is considered a "hermie"? Everything I've read here tells me to yank and destroy, can you please explain why as I've invested the last 3 months on the 2 plants that I have. I understand I will have seeds in my bud but any other reason? Thank you!!!
yes it is a hermie dont quote me on this but from what i understand is once the plant starts to hermie it will stop putting energy into producing new thc glands. the bud will still mature but its energy will go directly into seed production. generally people dont want seeds unless they plan to use them in the future. But in this case the majority of the seeds the plant will produce will be "hermies"

Back the tape up. I need it again!
Let it roll! Just as high as the fucker can go!
And when it comes to that fantastic note
where the rabbit bites its own head off,
I want you to THROW THAT FUCKING
RADIO INTO THE TUB WITH ME!
Not me. It would blast you through
the wall stone dead in ten seconds and they'd make me explain.
You can still have bud that's smokeable, it's just going to have seeds in it. The reason people say to yank them the moment you see it, is so that you don't pollinate the rest of your crop. If you don't mind both plants getting seeds. Leave it be.
But you really should be asking yourself WHY did your plant hermie. Are you going in during the dark period?? Are you having extremes in your grow environment?? You should do your best to try and figure this out before your next grow so you don't have the same problem.
