Grow bags are great, pots are more permanent. That's the advantage to buying a thicker plastic container, things will last you a long while. Grow bags need to be replaced.

i use a few of them, the plants love'em, my only problem is they dry out fairly quickly, especially in the sun, or infront of a fan so i wrap them in white plastic, to reflect light and keep wind out

I haven't noticed them drying out any quicker. Wind doesn't exactly penetrate plastic.
One thing that I don't like about them is having to set up some sort of run off friendly floor or taking measures so you don't get a bunch of run off nutrients all over your floors. I like pots because they can have complimentary saucers that catch run off. I supposed some saucers could be employed for certain sized grow bags but that's one issue I have with them. I often times find myself feeding in the bathtub and I put plastic down on my floor and stapled the plastic to the wall 6inches or so from the floor so if I ever have excessive water it pools in the center for me to clean.

Well said.
If you are dealing in hundreds of plants/clones, then bags are the best choice, but if you are just growing for personal, depending on the size of plants you plan to grow, I prefer to buy a nice thick plastic set of square pots, they are easy to clean and reuse, and only cost you about $1.50-2.50 a piece depending on volume.
