Goodfellas and scarface were really good. Never seen the godfather though. Casino is also another great gangster movie.

Check out the 1973 movie Dillinger, it's just cooler than public enemies.

Goddamnit i really wish you would of warned me about that movie. That's like a practical joke you pulled, a really fucked disgusting joke. I love you for the recommendation, hate you for not giving a heads. Warning to anyone who's thinking about watching: BE PREPARED to have every human emotion tossed every which way for a couple hours then pummeled with deep, great anger. BE PREPARED to have your soul shot 5 times, then drowned.

The documentary is called "My Brother's Keeper"

I never got the love for "once upon a time in America". I thought it was an amazingly horrible film in every aspect: from continuity, to acting

There isn't one actor in that movie that is a bad actor....... and It's one of the most beautifully shot films of all time. De Niro James Wood Joe Pesci Jennifer Connelly
It's the greatest mob epic of all time, you sure you saw the 4 hour version? Critics that saw the edited version hated it originally, but years later after the directors cut was released it was reconsidered to be one of best, underrated films of the era. It's a film people either love or hate..... check out the movie 1990 and lemme know what you think, It's another De Niro epic with mixed reviews.

Agree that the film is packed with great actors, but that doesn't gurantee they will fit the part, or that they will mesh well with the director and over all vibe.
However, you might be right about the issue being with the cut I saw. Because there seemed to be a major lack of continuity and development, with the film just randomly jumping around.
