Looks like another random overpriced generic vape
and yes they smell more than smoking, makes your room smell like you have 100 plants in the last stages of flowering

also sounds like you've already made up your mind on this purchase. I would yield to NI's wisdom on this. Vaporized pot smells more than smoked pot?! that's the opposite of what i would have thought, but I have never been around a real vape.

The odor depends on the vaporizer and the buds you're vaping.
Those generic box vapes have a huge tendency to burn the bud which is what's responsible for the plant-like odor, especially with danks. However, I disagree that they smell more than burning the herbs.
My volcano almost doesn't smell at all even with danks. Of course it does have the odor of fresh herb but it dissipates MUCH faster than smoke.
When I used to live in a dorm everyone would take their mattresses and prop them against the door to the dorm, open a window, put a fan in the window. Then you sit by the window and fan making sure to always blow the smoke through a spoof. Afterwards spray a ton of ozium. Even going through all these precautions I know a lot of people who got busted for the smell.
When I had the volcano in a dorm I didn't do anything at all (not even opening a window) always with danks.
I'd even have people come over like 15 mins after and nobody ever noticed the smell.
My advise, put your money aside and save up for a real vape.

that's a hellofa pitch there. I'm sold. I just need to decide if its worth the extra $100 to go digital. I'm doubting it. Anyone have an opinion on that? I'm talking about the volcano, of course.

Definitely go for the solid valve, not those temporary bag things.
I've never used the digitals, through experience I've got my technique down. If you end up getting the analogue one and need any tips just let me know man.

Dude I'm fucking jealous, I really want a volcano.
Not sure if I would pay the extra for the digital I think the warranty is shorter. And I really don't know the advantages of having digi compared to analogue.
When I get a big grow in though thats going to be my first purchase is a volcano.

I bought mine from a friend after he owned it for a year for $350. He's the one who put the two small dents on mine. Either way it still works and it still had 2 years left of warranty on it which came in handy a couple times.
Storz and Bickel are really good for customer service. They cleaned it for me and changed the intake air filter after they fixed it
Sometimes people come over to smoke, obviously I whip out the 'cano. Occasionally people are like "I'd never blow that much money on a peice". I just remind them of how much money they've put into glass over the years that they've just ended up breaking eventually. Plus they always leave feeling like

Yeah man, and not only do you save money on glass, but I'm sure it is a lot less wasteful than smoking. Especially if you got those asshole friends that torch the fuck out of weed. I want a vape so bad, but right now it would be kind of pointless because I don't even smoke weed that often, I'll wait until my first big harvest. Then i'd smoke a lot more. It'd be really nice to gve my lungs a break on smoking though, and I don't smoke cigs I could cut smoking out completely.

Yeah it's obviously safer and I usually only pack like .3 and that can get probably 5 people really 
Plus I save all my vaped buds and make butter

Someone post a link to a decent vape in the $200 range.
There are way too many for me to try and choose from 
If there were a place where I could see one on display
it would be much easier for me to make a decision

dont get the hot box dude, my friend had one and you have to hold the piece with the herb in it up to the hotbox and hold the mouthpiece to your mouth. He has a better one now that the piece with the herb clips onto the heat source so you only have to hold the mouth piece. they make a volcano like vape that also has a mouth piece attachment. and its like 199 or 299 thats what you should get IMO.

for real, all this talking about it makes me want to put some stuff up for auction so i can get one. My buddy bought a vaporGenie. It's kinda weird, and wasn't really any different imo. You just heat up some material (ceramic maybe) with your lighter and that material heats the bud.

You're correct, they do sell a 'portable volcano' type deal. In my eyes it's just a knock off (not made my Storz and Bickel), but my friend has one and I've smoked it. It's probably the second best vape I've ever used but he and I both agreed the volcano still puts it to shame.
I am biased though
