Calea zacatechichi, also known as Dream Herb, Cheech, and Bitter Grass, is a plant used by the indigenous Chontal of the Mexican state of Oaxaca for oneiromancy (a form of divination based on dreams.) The plant naturally occurs from southern Mexico to northern Costa Rica. It has been scientifically demonstrated that extracts of this plant increase reaction times and the frequency and/or recollection of dreams[1] versus placebo and diazepam. It is also employed by the Chontal people as a medicinal herb against gastrointestinal disorders, and is used as an appetizer, cathartic anti-dysentery remedy, and as a fever-reducing agent.
Wussow et al. (1985) indicates that the correct Latin name is Calea ternifolia Kunth, of which two varieties are recognized.
Use
The Chontal medicine men, who assert that this plant is capable of "clarifying the senses" causing euphoria, call it thle-pela-kano, meaning "leaf of God". Whenever they desire to know the cause of an illness or the location of a distant or lost person, the common ritual is to smoke a cigarette, whilst drinking a tea, both made of Calea Zacatechichi, right before going to sleep. Some also report placing the leaf of God under their pillow before sleeping. Reportedly, the answer to the question comes in a dream.[2]
This sounds awsome.

Good job, I almost had to LMGTFY
I had Salvia going at one point as well but I had problems getting it acclimated to my humidity.

I used to grow the shrooms. I still have my gigantic AA pressure cooker so I will be growing more in the future. I should be doing it now, but with the threat of random inspections at this apartment i wont.
just a few:
horse shit FTW!
and I like to grow weed even more, yet have less experience growing weed than mushrooms. you can find those pics in my grow logs or my gallery, which has over a thousand pics in it. i always love seeing everyone elses grows.

Dream Herb can be used for waking reality as well. It is a psychedelic drug and can be used while awake.

Yes I did the bagging thing but it was just to arid out here at the time and tbh I just didn't put the effort into it that I should have. Granted I didn't know nearly as much about plants as I do now, although that knowledge is still just a drop out of the ocean.
FB: That is some fucking nice even monotub growth right there.
Is that Koh Samui?

Grown some weed outdoors but was never too serious about it. pretty much just tossed some seeds in the dirt...
Me and my brother have grown a lot of mushrooms. I never really cared about the mushrooms though because i'm not that into tripping. Was pretty cool to learn though. My avi is from a grow we did, I could probably post a bunch more pictures but I'm lazy hahaha

Everything about it comes easy to me. Being sterile is easy as long as you dont live in filth and clean up before hand and use the proper procedures.
